Lady is a “dark chocolate” with a beautiful coat and a super winning attitude. She is bred very well and is “loaded with field champions and titled dogs on both sides of her pedigree as is Blaze. She has lots of drive and is an excellent marker. She wants to please and is pleasant company with a great temperament. She is a “powerhouse of a dog” with very strong shoulders and neck. She is EIC clear, CNM clear, OFA Hips and Elbows Good - Excellent, Cerf Good and will continue training with our kennel trainer until her HRCH is achieved. Annabell had her puppies on November 1. She had 5, 2 females and 3 males. One male is left. UH,HRCH Queen Ann of New Castle (Annabell) is an exceptional Chocolate Labrador Hunting Retriever. She has excellent confirmation, a thick chocolate coat and a well balanced temperament. She has been a pleasure to train. She is always eager to please and has almost unlimited bottom end. Her biggest asset in hunt testing has been being rock steady at the line with the go button when she is released. These traits were passed on to her offspring in her first breeding. She has been a great companion and hunting dog as well as hunt test dog. Annabell is a real member of my family and has been 100% owner trained and handled. She has been hunted extensively on all forms of waterfowl and upland game. She is dependably steady in the blind and exhibits extremely strong drive when coursing an upland field. In addition to being a titled Upland Hunter, Hunting Retriever Champion, she has passed 10 upland and 24 regular HRC finished tests without a failure, becoming the first female chocolate 500 POINT dog in region 13. She has an EXCELLENT OFA, NEGATIVE EIC and has CERF’ed clear of genetic defects. Insemination took place on September 2, 2009.
